It should be those
who experience it."
STORY
On the Road in
Oregon
Artist and author Claudine Lundgren is a wonderful storyteller. We always look forward to her stories of life on her farm and of her travels.
Ms. Lundgren is also an accomplished designer. She has produced designs for over seventy-two (72) universities in 15 states and also created designs for the Olympic trials as well as the Rose Bowl and other bowl games.
Currently, she lives on a 10 acre farm with six Pygmy goats (pets) along four cats and three dogs. "Living on a farm, a half an hour away from 'civilization' means that we do a lot of our own maintenance, like fixing the tractor and working on our other farm machinery," she says.

A little drama on the freeway today.
I was about to take the clover leaf to get on the usual
freeway home when a sudden idea came to me to keep going on this two lane
freeway instead. So I did. It's a shorter but slower route home that I hardly
ever take. About two miles later I could see the cars in the slow lane
swerving out into the fast lane and traffic was suddenly getting slow.
My first thought was 'an accident, why did I take this way today?' I was in the fast lane, a school bus was flanking my right in the slow lane. We both slowed as we came to two cars stopped in the slow lane and could see what had made them stop.

GARDENING
with PHIL THE SMILING GARDENER
Gardening
is a great way to engage people of all age groups in physical activity. Done
correctly, gardening can provide non-strenuous exercise and quality time
outdoors. Increasing accessibility
to these benefits should be a priority for new and

How many people do you know who actually have the same color hair as when we were 16? We all change. If we are lucky we get to grow into maturity and even open to a new vision of what life means. By the time we reach full "boomerhood" (50 years of age and older) we may find we need a bit of TLC.To tell the truth, at any age, who wouldn't mind a little help around the house- someone to prepare a meal, carry one or more of us to the wellness spa, specialty grocery store, or to spruce up the home? more info: CLICK HERE |

SHARED KNOWLEDGE:
Each month we send our team out to find "sage-worthy" information to
share. Here are two gems for the month of April. These are downloadable
PDFs. We add them to our ever-expanding LIBRARY and invite your suggestions. We love the idea of building on shared
knowledge -thriving when we engage in collaborative efforts such as
the SAGE COMPANION PROJECT. Together we can create a culture of
shared findings, understandings and meanings. Talking with each other
feels to us to be an excellent way for people to dive into such a
culture. We can change perceptions, increase respect for personhood, and dismiss AGE-GRADING stereotypes.
