Mom is cautious. She guards her purse diligently. Her memory isn’t what it once was. The purse disappeared; it could have been stolen as the opportunity presented itself. Four months later, after police report and extraordinary efforts to replace items, the purse is found in the bedroom apparently hidden by mom. Faith in humanity restored.
